Non Profit with a Mission to Empower the Physically Disabled

EP Legacy, Inc. (EPL) was established as a non-profit for the purpose of meeting the needs of amputees throughout the world. EPL was started in December of 2015 with the purpose in mind to help with reaching all amputees throughout the world either in partnership of directly through their mission work. The need for the non-profit was brought to fruition after medical missions were performed by a local provider of orthotic and prosthetic services with services being rendered in Central America, including the countries of El Salvador and Guatemala. As of 2018, mission work has been performed in El Salvador, Guatemala, the Ivory Coast, and continued partnership with Designed to Live in Latvia.

EPL provides orthotic and prosthetic care with a primary focus on artificial limbs to people who could not otherwise afford this care. The concentration of efforts initially began in Central America but continues to develop in the European and South American markets.

EPL is concerned with the patient’s needs and places its focus on the population that would benefit from the services it provides and hopes to make the greatest impact through being able to make individuals independent. To do this helps them be able to provide for themselves and their families by going back to some sort of work, even if modified, that would allow them to utilize their abilities.  

A valuable part, due to lack of resources through manpower, is that EPL partners with groups around the world to continue to support other non-profit organizations that cast the net further to reach more lives and touch them in a way more expediently.
